Welcome to Notre Dame Academy Elementary School, a private Catholic elementary school sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame. For over sixty years NDAE has been dedicated to fostering young people to become competent, compassionate and Christ-like. Our school is a dynamic educational institution staffed by dedicated professionals who take seriously the call of St. Julie Billiart, Notre Dame Spiritual Foundress, to proclaim the goodness and providence of God to all those we serve. We Are Called
This year’s theme, “We Are Called”, encapsulates everything that we are about and everything that we strive for at NDA. From our mission to develop globally responsible students who are competent, compassionate and Christ-like, to the work and the people that make up our school community, everything we do at Notre Dame Academy is a response to a call from God to make a difference in the world. We are called to teach, learn, serve, lead, share our talents, be good sports, help others, stand up for what is right, pray, be compassionate, follow Jesus, be thankful, and so much more. What makes our school special is that there are so many people in our school community that respond to the call every day, taking on the challenge, giving of themselves and supporting each other and the greater community to make a difference. From the teachers and staff to parents, the parent organization, student council officers, girl scouts, clubs, teams, volunteers, student leadership and service groups, the students in the classrooms and the Sisters of Notre Dame, I see and feel the passion, drive and commitment to answer the call every day.
I am very excited about this school year and what we will accomplish together.
