Ms. Mathews' Physical Education Class

Hello students, and parents. I am Ms. Mathews. I will be your P.E. teacher this year. This will be my fifth year teaching P.E, but my first year at Notre Dame Academy. I am so excited to be here and work with all of you!
I went to college at Gonzaga University and graduated in 2005. Go bulldogs! I continued my education at California State University Long Beach, where I completed my single subject credential in Physical Education. I love all sports, but especially love basketball. I played basketball in college, and also professionally in Europe. Basketball has taken me to Holland, Switzerland, Finland, Poland, and Puerto Rico. I also tried out for the Los Angeles Sparks in 2006. I hope to share my experiences with you and help many of you take sports to the next level! In addition to basketball I love to read, go to the movies, and shop! This year we will learn many new games, activities, and skills. I hope you are as excited as I am! |
