I am the Visual Art teacher at Notre Dame Academy Elementary school, since 2002. I graduated from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, with a BFA in Illustration. I come from a long line of teachers, and my love of children is a strong tether to my life in education.

I have focused on several areas of the arts in my life: I danced (ballet) as a child, in my 20’s I was a silversmith, painting has been my main focus for most of the rest of my adult life but I have put a good amount of time into learning and practicing ceramics in the last few years. Children love clay and so do I! It provides a tactile experience that is so unique in the modern digital world. I try to instill the love of creativity to my students, as well as the understanding of their own personal ways of seeing the world.
